Noongar Language

Djaa-Waangkiny is passed down from the Burdiya (Elders/Leaders) to the Koorlangka (Children), this has been done for generations to retain language and ensures it's preservation.

Djaa-Waangkiny is traditionally an oral practice, however is now more inclusive through scriptures and documentation.

Djaa-Waangkiny Wort-Barang (Language Sharing) began around the Kaarla-Mia (Campfire), with Kabarli (Grandmother), Moyran (Grandfather), Ngaangk (Mother) and Maambart (Father) sitting with koorlangka (Children) to share language with them.
